Standing at approximately 1788 mm, (1768 mm after a haircut) I am an Artist and Teacher in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
At my home base of KCI (Kitchener-Waterloo Collegiate & Vocational School… and yes K, C & I is the proper acronym even though the letters don’t match… trust me.), I am developing a new Digital Photography program. So far the students have been motivated, enthusiastic and, we are proud to say, have been creating some phenomenal work. In between KCI and waiting for LOST and Heroes to begin/continue their 2008 seasons, I am an Artist, Graphic Designer and Developer. As an Artist I find myself unable to pick just one medium and instead have been exploring everything I can find. This includes painting, drawing, sculpture, wood carving, printing, photography and digital imaging. To simplify things I decided to call my chosen medium: “Stuff”. After realizing that it caused even more confusion I settled on: “Mixed Media”. Before teaching I was the cofounder of an Internet Software company where I acted as both a Project Manager and Graphic Designer. And even though that path is far gone, when an interesting project comes up (or someone just asks nicely) I find myself dabbling in the occasional online or design project. |
