JASON PANDA

Artist, Photographer, Experience Designer

Based in Waterloo, Ontario, I explore the intersection of logic, art, and community.

As a certified educator (OCT), my professional practice spans across mediums… from intricate geometric tessellations and fine-art photography to large-scale collaborative installations that have engaged thousands of participants across North America.

My goal is simple: to create frameworks where individual creativity can thrive within a collective whole. I believe art is at its best when it serves as a bridge, connecting our personal stories to the broader community threads that hold us all together.

The Geometry of Belonging

My practice is rooted in the structural logic of tessellation—not just as a geometric technique, but as a philosophy of life.

Whether I am hand-drawing layered patterns, capturing a raw human narrative through a camera lens, or twisting reality in a mixed-media piece, I invite viewers to find order within complexity and recognize the interconnectedness of all things.

This philosophy directly drives my collaborative and commercial work. Projects like Belong Together and my designs for complex escape rooms turn abstract mathematical concepts and visual storytelling into tangible, shared human experiences. Whether leading a municipal mural project or engineering intricate puzzle systems, I am driven by the belief that art should facilitate engagement and build a lasting sense of belonging.

Ultimately, my work is an invitation to look closer: to find the patterns, define the narrative, and recognize our essential place in the greater community.
