It Starts With A Single Tile…
Every project is built on a Custom-Designed tessellation that locks together perfectly in every direction… ensuring the final piece is defined by the contributions of the whole community.
From thick MDF tiles (ideal for community paint nights, permanent public displays, and school murals) to lightweight and budget-friendly paper… tiles can be cut from a variety of materials so that the final format works for you!

YEAR ONE: WATERLOO REGION (2021)
With assist from my good friend Cam Turner (Tinker Truck), the first set of Belong Together tiles were distributed across the Waterloo Region.
Over 19,000 Tiles Distributed!
The project connected thousands and many are still on display in schools, churches, homes and community centres across the Region.

I started Belong Together because I saw a profound need for us to feel connected again. What began as a small local project in Waterloo, Ontario has grown into a global story of using art to bridge the gap between individual creativity and community belonging.
Local Partners Include Municipal & Public Spaces (City of Kitchener & Waterloo, Waterloo Public Library, Uptown Waterloo), Education & Social Services (Rockway Mennonite Collegiate, Waterloo Region District School Board, Regional Community Centres), Faith & Community Groups (Churches, Senior Communities, Neighbourhood Organizations), Social Services (City of Kitchener, City of Waterloo, Waterloo Public Library).
